Bring the whole family and join us on Sunday, December 4th from 3:00 - 4:30 for Gingerbread Bash with Crossroads Kids! We will hear the sweet story of Jesus' birth and build a gingerbread nativity scene. We hope you will join us!

Join us for Christmas at Crossroads as we celebrate the coming of Jesus. 

Christmas Eve: Kids & Family Service at 3:30, Candlelight and Communion services at 5:00 & 7:00.

Christmas Day: One Service at 10:00

Speaker: Rev. Eric Swanson  -  12/1/22 at 6:30pm

Rev. Eric Swanson will come and share with us about the vision and future of the United Methodist Church on Thursday, December 1st at 6:30pm in the sanctuary. Eric is the pastor of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin, and he has been actively leading campus ministries and churches of all sizes since 2004. Eric has a passion for helping equip the local church and its leaders for 21st century ministry. He is currently a General Conference delegate on behalf of the IGRC. He also serves as the Deputy Chief at the Schaeferville Fire Protection District and as an instructor at the Illinois Fire Service Institute. He is blessed by the love and support of his wife, Cori, and two children.

The session will be recorded and shared online with those who can not attend in person.

Rev. Chris Ritter will come and share with us about the vision and future of the Global Methodist Church on Sunday, December 4th at 6:30pm in the sanctuary. Chris is the Directing Pastor of Geneseo First United Methodist Church, a congregation that has been honored by both the Illinois Great Rivers Conference and UM Discipleship Ministries for growth and high numbers of professions of faith. He is the author of Seven Things John Wesley Expected Us to Do for Kids (Abingdon Press, 2016) and has contributed chapters and articles for numerous other publications. His blog, PeopleNeedJesus.net is read by thousands and is a popular source for Methodist news and opinions. He was a founding member of the Wesleyan Covenant Association’s Global Council and currently is serving on the board of The Confessing Movement within the United Methodist Church. Chris was a clergy delegate to the 2016 and 2019 General Conferences of The United Methodist Church.  Chris is an ordained elder and graduated magna cum laude from Candler School of Theology at Emory University and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Evangelism. He lives with his wife of 34 years, Becky, and the couple are the parents of four young adults. The session will be recorded and shared online with those who can not attend in person.

Did you know that every Thursday night, the Prayer Team has prayer appointments? You might be wondering what a prayer appointment is... Here is what you can expect:

• Safe, loving atmosphere with a 2-3 person team.

• A one hour appointment.

• Your need will be kept confidential.

• The prayer ministry team will ask questions, invite Jesus to come into the situations, and pray.

• This process may be repeated several times during your prayer session.
